Alma Milcic is a Vienna-based beauty entrepreneur, internationally experienced hair and makeup artist, educator and creative visionary whose career has spanned more than 25 years. Known for combining exceptional artistry with an entrepreneurial mindset, she has built a multifaceted career across fashion, beauty, education and business.

Her work has taken her behind the scenes at New York, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks, where she has collaborated with some of the world’s most prestigious fashion houses and designers, including Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Missoni, Ermenegildo Zegna, Vivienne Westwood and Wes Gordon. Her impressive client portfolio includes renowned personalities from the worlds of film, television, theatre, music and fashion, among them Hilary Swank, Seal, Nicole Scherzinger, Jermaine Jackson, Franca Sozzani and Conchita Wurst.

Drawing on decades of hands-on experience and an uncompromising understanding of professional beauty tools, Alma created her own collection of premium makeup brushes. Available through the Alma webshop and selected Nägele & Strubell boutiques across Austria, Alma Brushes have earned outstanding reviews for their exceptional quality, precise performance and refined finish. For seven years, Alma served as an official beauty partner of the Vienna State Opera Ball, where she was responsible for the event’s Beauty Pop-Up Service.

In 2018, Alma expanded her entrepreneurial portfolio by founding the Brow & Lash Bar by RefectoCil, Austria’s first specialist beauty concept dedicated entirely to professional eyebrow and eyelash treatments. She developed the creative concept and, together with Andreas Lackner, shaped the distinctive interior design of the boutiques in Vienna and Salzburg. Although Alma is no longer involved with the Brow & Lash Bar, the project remains an important chapter in her entrepreneurial journey and reflects her ability to transform specialist beauty expertise into an elevated and innovative client experience.

Education has always been central to Alma’s work. She has developed and led professional workshops for internationally recognised brands and companies including L’Oréal, Maybelline, Urban Decay and REWE, sharing her knowledge with their teams and beauty professionals. Through the Alma Makeup Masterclass and the Alma Masterclass for Perfect Brows, she also passes on the techniques, experience and creative confidence she has developed throughout her career to the next generation of artists.

Today, Alma’s work continues to span fashion, beauty, education and entrepreneurship. She remains active in the international fashion industry while also working closely with individual clients, bringing the same level of artistry, precision and personal attention to every assignment. In addition, she is a sought-after bridal hair and makeup stylist for luxury destination weddings across Europe, creating refined, highly personalised looks for discerning international brides in some of the continent’s most exceptional settings.
